It is common for traditional electronic circuits that their reliability is mainly improved based on redundant fault-tolerant technology. Hover, the redundant backup technology cannot be achieved on all components or chips. In order to find an alternative solution, a novel electronic circuit faultrepair strategy based on evolvable hardware (EHW which is a tool with evolutionary algorithm (EA) as well as reparation balance technology (RBT). In this project, the first approach, the EHW is considered to be investigated to boost the performance of the chip to make futuristic glitches being fixed faster and more efficiently.

The purpose of this project in the first step is to develop an approach to discover the fault portion of the chip as soon as it is infected with a glitch based on the evolutionary algorithm (EA). In the second step, the most important task will be categorized and detached from the defective portion of the chip to be processed soon by the robust portion of the same chip. The less important tasks will be postponed until the glitch is fixed.
It is common that the electricity cut-off is sometimes efficient to restore the IC from the urgent glitches. Therefore, this project suggests three ways for self-repair of the glitched portions:

1- Separate the glitched portion completely until the IC unit is restarted either it is PC or Phone.

2- Separate the glitched portion completely and cut off electricity from it for a while then reunion it again to the rest of the chip.

3- Design IC in a structure that the glitched portion will continue giving a limited performance to achieve a task which plays a role to preserve the chip performance until it is recovered of the glitch.

This task should be transmitting reports in a pattern of bit stream to an active portion in the same chip to discover the reason of the glitch and find out a way to recover it.
